Mr. Mackowiak has served as a senior communications aide for two U.S. Senators and a Governor, managed the largest county in Iowa for the Bush-Cheney reelection campaign and worked at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He writes regularly for several well known publications and provides regular political analysis for radio and television networks. Matt has a regular national podcast, “Mack on Politics”.
Matt currently serves as Chairman of the Travis County Republican Party, as well as being involved in several civic organizations in Austin and Washington, D.C. Matt and his wife Suzanne reside in the Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin.
