May Meeting
Our May meeting will be at Craft & Vine, 310 South Oak Street, Roanoke. This pleasant and interesting restaurant is about six months old and has an area that can be closed off to ensure our privacy. The menu is quite extensive and varied. You will want to save a few extra, fun minutes to make your choices. Craft & Vine is on the third floor of the southernmost building on Oak Street (east side of the street). The entrance and parking are on the south side of the building. There is an elevator taking you to the reception area of the restaurant. We will pay individually for our lunches.
We are pleased to have Dabney Bassel as our speaker. We are especially proud because Dabney is one of very own charter members of TSRW. He has been here – supporting us from the beginning! Not only does Dabney have an impressive resume, he will represent us in the November election to be on the Texas Second Court of Appeals. The Court hears all appeals except those in which the death penalty has been imposed and it also has jurisdiction over many other facets of our legal system.
Reservations are not mandatory at our meeting at the Craft & Vine; however, your reservation would be very helpful to the executive board and the restaurant. We would appreciate hearing from you by the evening of Monday, May 7.
You may call me at 575-496-3345or drop me a note at [email protected]. I look forward to seeing you on May 9!
